In this series of videos, I’m exploring the relationship between humans and non-humans. More specifically, the way we as humans observe insects, feel about insects and respond to insects. The insects are placed in a clean, white surrounding, almost like a laboratory. A place of study where the still body of the insect found in the windowsill interacts with the human body, by touching, moving, gazing and heartbeat vibrations. We can observe all of their characteristics, we can examine their anatomy, we can admire their colours and textures, we can gaze… Where does the non-human begin and where does the human?
